Forest is a two-way design solution for university students and wellness stakeholders, aimed at fostering trusting connections between these groups. According to the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong report, over half of youth experiencing depression have not received any form of help, and mental distress levels among university students remain alarmingly high. This design project seeks to create a toolset that encourages university students to share their experiences and emotions with peers and wellness stakeholders, ultimately increasing their willingness to seek help.

Forest also provides emerging adults a renewed sense of identity and belonging, allowing them to explore the world with friends while safely expressing themselves. Additionally, it offers wellness stakeholders a toolkit to engage with university students, facilitating the development of meaningful and trusting relationships, while serving as a mechanism for mental health crisis management.
